Hi. Today I went to the bard site to download People Weekly which is one of my favorite magazines, smile. After pressing enter on the link to download the latest issue, I heard the name of the file spoken as in db people with the date in the filename. When I pressed enter on the name of the file, the file did not appear to be downloading. On the link where you start the download I pressed the context menu key, down arrowed to save target as, tabbed to save and pressed enter. With no indication of the progress indicator app during the download, I hoped that the file went to my downloads folder created in Windows 7 by default and it did, smile.
Until the progress indicator app works with ie 9 those of us who were brave enough to try it, all is not lost. Otherwise, the progress indicator app still works. For example, when you run the app get to check for updates, or when you manually download Windows updates. I am one of those who appreciates the progress indicator app with its beeps and percentage announcements. I didn't realize just how much I miss it, smile. I have considered rolling back to ie 8 and I don't want to do that just yet. Mike M. . Mike M. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
