Sometimes window-eyes will blurt out a message without me doing anything. For instance, when I was booting up the computer I heard something to the effect that no update available for a certain app. I wasn't expecting the message so can't give details but I know it mentioned a specific app and said no update available. It could be that I heard a message when window-eyes was loading and checking for updates of apps. However, this blurting out of messages didn't happen with version 7.2.
I just got a blurt out message a few minutes ago. I'm not sure what it said though, wasn't expecting it. I'm going to try and pay a little more attention and if I can recall what it blurts out again, I'll report the exact phrase. I have the WE in the system tray. I'm quite sure at the time of the last blurt out, I had no active program running. I believe at one blurt out in the past, I did have some programs running. I'm not sure if it is blurting out what is in the tooltip, I don't think so, though. I like the computer to speak, of course, but sometimes, blurting out unexpected messages can be quite odd.
