Ted,

it's quite a valid question. I'm part of a group, just forming, to try and
help the less fortunate blind individuals obtain needed assistive technology
through donations from others, including the families of those who once used
it, and no longer have any need for it. we've just started contacting
companies who have licensing agreements with the owners of their products,
and some are willing to let us transfer licenses without cost, some (guess
who?) want a $75 fee for transfer of a license, and our member taking care
of this aspect hasn't yet contacted GW as far as I know.

If you learn anything please share it.

thanks.

Chip

Subject: wwhat can be done with My Window-Eyes software after my death

Dear List:
I am not planning to kick the bucket yet, but I have a sobering question:
Keeping things legal per the software agreement, can I or a surviving heir
or spouse give away or sell my Window-Eyes Software? I cannot remember the
rules. Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson If you reply to this message it will
