Hello,
I am using Winamp 5.572 (maybe). I am having trouble finding the actual
version, but I think that is what it said. I am running Windows 7
64-bit and Window-Eyes beta. I don't know exactly when the problem
started, but it was sometime within the last couple of weeks.
Normally, if I have a large file and I want to see where I am or move to
another portion of the file, I use the control-j to open the jump to
window and use the mouse to arrow down to see how long the file is.
Then, I enter in the time I want to jump to. Now, it seems that I can
only edit the box, but there is no mouse functions available. When I
press np5, it says center. None of the other keys speak, but the 4 and
6 will skip forward or back, same as the arrow keys, and the 2 and 8
will change the volume. The only key that appears to work is the insert
key, which is for opening a file. In other words, I have lost my mouse
function and would like to get it back. I don't know what else, if
anything is not working properly. I have turned off the Winamp app with
no change. Can someone help me? Is it possible I may have,
unknowingly, changed some mouse setting in the Control Panel? Thanks.
Carol
BTW, I have restarted the computer twice with no change.
