Pele: No quirk of your display, as I have similar problems with the Focus 40. I suspect that the displays you are referring to have better driver interfaces with Window-Eyes than the Focus.
Could be fixed in time for the release of the commercial version of Window-eyes v7.5 - at least I hope so. When navigating through an Excel worksheet sometimes the Braille display does not read the cell correctly. This happens particularly if one cell is copied to another. I reported this problem to GW Micro some time ago and was told that they had replicated it but did not know when it would be corrected. Is there any setting I could try with WE 7.5 that might stop this from happening? Are other people having the same problem? I have encountered it using an Alva ABT380, Alva Satellite 540, Alva BC640 and the Brailliant 64, so I don't think it is a quirk of my Braille display. I would be interested in anyone's experience with Excel and braill displays. Pele West If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
