If you go into a program that exhibits this behavior and set your
keyboard voice setting to program in Window-Eyes, what does it show?

The only kys that seem to work for me are the arrow keys, the control
keys and the mouse keys. In other words, none of the letter keys, the
enter keys or the shift keys will interupt speech and my settings are
for all keys interupt. The mouse keys do seem to work properly, but I
would prefer to be able to have speech stop when pressing enter or tab
or shift, the way it used to. Thanks.
