Greetings,
As many of you are aware, we are experiencing a very high amount of
traffic at the moment as everybody tries to download their upgrades at
once. Please keep the following in mind, and the process will go much
more smoothly for all involved:
1. If you experience timeouts or page not found messages after you
enter your serial number, then try back again so that the traffic level
has a chance to decrease. Constantly pressing refresh, F5, or going to
Help/Check for Updates from within Window-Eyes will only make things worse.
2. The correct file size of the 7.5 upgrade is approximately 43 MB.
Anything significantly smaller indicates a failed download, and just as
in the previous recommendation, please try again a bit later.
3. Most importantly, be patient. Yes; the upgrade is now available, and
we are pleased that so many of you are eagerly trying to get it. But do
understand that our bandwidth and computing resources do have their
limits. The upgrades are not going anywhere. They will still be here
tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.
4. If you are running the public beta of 7.5, you still have ample time
to install the final version or downgrade back to 7.2 before the beta
expires.
