If you think they're remote controlling your older version to go bad, take
yourself off the internet, and then reinstall 7.2 from disks, and see if you
still have the same problems.

then, wonder if software hasn't changed (been upgraded), if xp hasn't been
patched hundreds of times, if entire new components haven't been added to xp
(such as their windows security essentials package), and then wonder if that
isn't the reason for the upgrade: all of these changes are breaking things.

Subject: Off list - conspieracy theory on newer versions of Window-Eyes
thoughts or opinio?

To off list interested GW-Micro Members,

I know what I'm about to say might sound crazy, but just stick with me
if you will on my hypothesis. I have been with GW-Micro with Window-Eyes for
eight years with multiple versions and have seen much change. However, it
appears me that when the newer version of Window-Eyes comes out that your
older version starts acting up. Surely I'm not the only one with this issue.
Its not only the newest applications and new programming ddelimmas or the
operating system as I still have Windows XP cause of paying off a credit
card and being in college (e.g. poor house) for the moment. Maybe its just
coincidential that this is happening or all part of my own mind. Thanks for
any supportive stories or of constructive criticism as I'm doubting GW's
integrity.

sincerely,
Peter
