Yes, I'm hearing x c and v, as well as "play, puase, stop". And I'm
hearing "play" when I press enter in the play list window.

So, you are hearing x and c and v etc, etc? You shouldn't be hearing those.

I'm talking about both; the key function and the key name.

Are you talking about the items that state the actual key press like x,
c, v, etc, or are you talking about the actual function of the key like
Play?
Also, the options are all still there but under the Winamp App
Preferences Dialog (control-shift-p).
To toggle whether or not label announcements are made for keys press
the Control-Windows-S key sequence to toggle it on and off.

Jeff
I'm back to W-E7.2 and Winamp5.61. I just can't remember the keystroke
to stop the transport keys talking. There seem to be less options in
preferences than there used to be, just one dialogue. I thought there
used to be separate options for Playlist settings ETC. Anyway, be that
as it may, just the keystroke to stop it saying "play" ETC would be
great, since I've forgotten it.
Thanks

Which version of Window-Eyes and the app are you running? It works
fine for me under 7.5 and 3.3 of the Winamp App.

Jeff and all
Can someone remind me how I silence the main transport keys in Winamp,
so it won't say "play" "Stop" ETC when I press x or v. Believe me,
I've looked, and I know it's there somewhere.
Thanks for any help.
