Yes, I'm still having some problems with WE 7.5 crashing with Windows Explorer. I've even lost my sounds a few times, and I'mnot sure why that is happening, but I don't think it's Window-Eyes related, as it's been going on for a while.

I let Vernon see my screen today when this happend, and I had to close some things, and then I could shut down the computer, properly, but with no sound or speech.

I don't know where to get updated sound drivers if that's the problem.

I'm still loving Window-Eyes 7.5, as it is much much better, and when it does crash with Explorer, it usually comes back. It really does rock! The interesting thing is the first day I had no crashes at all. I was getting a lot of stuff done successfully without Window-Eyes and Explorer crashing.

I wonder if it gets tired through out the day? <grin> lol.

Thanks.

Hi, list,

Is anyone else having an issue with explorer and the new WE? I'm running
windows 7 64 bit enterprise with 8 gb of ram and a quad core. WE has
crashed when I have right clicked on an item, twice. Upon using the kill
script, I can relaunch the program, but the synth merely says,
"window-eyes 7.5." and nothing else, I can't get any functionality back.
I had to launch narrator to see if there was some sort of error, but all
that was loaded was the WE control pannel.

I got WE to work after I killed it's main processes in the task manager,
but that only worked one time.

Just a few minutes ago as of this writing, I tried to open explorer with
the usual windows E keystroke, and WE hung up and wouldn't restart. I'm wondering if there's something i'm missing, all set files have been updated to the latest version and all aps are running properly. puzzling to say the least.
