Hi, Peggy. Unfortunately, the progress bar has been changed so it does not work with I e 9. There are no settings that can be made to make the progress indicator app work in I e 9. I can live without the progress indicator as well, but like you, I miss my beeps and would like to have them back when it comes to using web pages in I e 9. When I spoke with Stephen Clower concerning this issue, he mentioned that a change was made to the progress bar so Window-eyes 7.5 can't indicate it working in I e 9. Otherwise, the progress indicator still works in certain instances.
