Chris,

Have your friend install the 32-bit version of Miranda rather than the 64-bit version. The app will work then.

Regards,
Steve

Hello all.
Please can you help my friend Gary Price, who is having the below problem. He is using Window-Eyes 7.5 demonstration copy. He has just installed the Miranda app using the Appget app. He is talking to me using it now, and whenever he either sends a message with the enter key, or he presses alt+a number key, all he is hearing is, "Message 1 not found", "message 2 not found", etc. I am using the same configuration as him, and unfortunately I cannot duplicate the problem. I got him to update the outdated sets, but it still doesn't work. The other problem is, he can't read the history window properly. He can read his own messages, but not my recent messages to him. The only way he can read it is to minimize to the desktop then alt-tab back to the conversation window. As for Miranda, both Gary and I are using 0.9.17. Our machines are running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit respectively.
If anyone knows what to do here, it will be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks in advance. I look forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
