this did the trick. now i can close my programs and the w e control panel stays closed. this was a nusence with some of my power basic programs that opened up note pad. the w e control panel would open every time notepad closed to go back to the main program. it doesn't do it anymore. ----- Original Message ----- From: "chris hallsworth" <[email protected]>
