Hello Ted, if you open the Apps menu and choose App Management, the first option is App Status. This has the choices of On, Off, and Manual, all apps will be turned off. You can then set it to manual so that the apps portion of Window-Eyes will be enabled, but you will then have to manually enable each one from the App Manager. So when doing this, my suggestion would be to start with the GW Toolkit and then work your way through other apps.

Many thanks.

Dear list:
I am using window-eyes 7.5 with windows xp.
To isolate what is contending with the gw toolkit, I stopped all apps except
the toolkit. It still crashes as soon as I get into internet explorer. Does
this app need a companion app for it to work properly? It took me a while to
tab through each app to stop them. Is there a hot key to toggle all of the
apps to start and stop, all at the same time? Maybe I should consider just
amputating the toolkit and all other apps tied to it. Thanks. Regards: Ted
