Hi, guys. Well, it happened again. I have WE set to speak at the login screen, and not to speak when I logged in, to see if starting manually would help with it not talking consistently when I logged in. I started it manually, and no go. I tried starting it again, and it made the noise as though it were already running. So I rebooted, with the same results. On the third reboot it finally talked. This is with no “tip of the day” as someone had suggested. So I wonder if it’s time to uninstall and reinstall from the CD. And I wonder if I should use the uninstall from the CD, just to make sure I get it all. <grin> Suggestions? Comments?
In the meantime, I set it back to talk automatically in my profile, since starting it manually didn’t seem to make a difference. I just wish I knew why this started happening with 7.5.
