hi, just wanted to let you know that I have tried your suggestion and in
my case it made it worse smile. now when I open IE 9 it crashes with MSN. I
am just going to go back to IE 8. not sure what is wrong with mine, IE 8
works fine but once I go to IE 9 it crashes all of the time. if anybody else
thinks they can solve this one please let me know. thanks

I have been reporting that I have had a lot of trouble with IE 9
crashing. I may have found a possible cause and solution.
I had already gone back to IE 8 but decided to try one more time with IE
9 and installed it once again. It still crashed. I then went into the
IE options advanced menu and did a rest of the IE settings. Now after
numerous test cycles opening and closing the web sites that were causing
crashes I have had zero crashes.
So if you are having a similar problem maybe try the reset option.
