I have a computer running XP, and at present WE 7.2, that I have brought
into the living room and connected the sound card to the input of the
stereo system. I am using it to play audio files of movies, TV shows,
books, music, and so on. As I change the volume of the WE voice, the music
also changes. The volume control I found was confusing as to which slider
did what. I did find volume and sound properties that have tab pages of
audio and voice among them. Would these happen to refer to music and
screen reading separately? How might I be able to adjust their volumes
separately? Is there a way of having WE come through headphones and music
through the speakers? I know the sound card has a speaker jack as well as
a line out jack, but I have no idea if I can have one sound played on one
and the screen reader on the other. In the large volume window where there
are several sliders, balances, and mute checkboxes, how do I find out which
does which thing? Any help along these lines would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Marilyn
