When you press control backslash to open Window-Eyes, There should be a
set file name showing in the Window-Eyes title bar.

Press control-shift-t and you will hear the name of the set file.

If the set file is not the one you expected for a particular program,
don't make any changes to any program settings.

For example, if you want to change some settings specifically for
notepad:

Start Notepad

Press control-backslash to open Window-eyes

Press control-shift-t and you should hear

Window-Eyes active notepad.set, associated notepad.set

Now you are ready to make program specific settings changes.

Lets say you want to turn on track mouse with focus:

Arrow down to mouse and press right arrow

Arrow down to other and press tab until you hear track mouse with focus.

If you hear track mouse with focus global, press space on this button so
it now says track mouse with focus program

Tab once and select the radio button which says track mouse with focus
on.

Tab to save settings and press space.

Yous just changed this one setting for notepad.

Hope this helps,

Jeff Weiss

So you hit enter on toggle scope and it changes from global to program.
How do you specify which program the setting applies to?

Toggle Scope controls whether a setting apples to a specific program or
globally.
