I tried two line view and I found Window Eyes no longer speaks 4 of 50 etc when I arrow up and down the message list. This is why I like Window Eyes so much. I found it easy to label the graphics.

Subject: Windows Live Mail 2011 Message Status Solution

Greetings,

If you're using Window-Eyes 7.5 and Windows Live Mail 2011, and are not hearing message status information (read, unread, etc.), that's most likely because you have your message list set to one line view, and Microsoft (in their infinite wisdom) does not provide message status information in that view, except through labeling graphics.

If you want native message status support through the Windows Live Mail app that ships with Window-Eyes 7.5, change your mail box view from one line view to two line view, using the ribbon shortcut Alt, V, LM, down arrow, enter. On a side note, I find the fact that is called a shortcut to be somewhat ironic.

Enjoy,

Aaron
