Hi Anita.
First of all, open the basic (beginners) manual by:
1. Opening the Control Panel with ctrl-backslash.
2. Press alt-h to open the help pulldown.
3. Press d to open the documentation pulldown.
4. Press m to select and open the manual.
This is providing you have the show advanced options disabled. Enabling
it will open the advanced manual.
Finally, Window-Eyes 7.5 appears to work the same regardless of
operating system. There are some issues concerning administrative
settings, but these only matter if you use Windows Vista and later and
User Account Control is enabled.

pause between the words "Open and closed threads"? Its all reading
together, and didn't use to do this in earlier versions. will 7.5 work
