Hi,
I know this is off-topic, but please, can someone help me? I have WE7.5
and am running Windows Home Premium, 64-bit on a Dell desktop.
My problem is that, with the exception of the desktop, I cannot use any
of the letter keys to select a file or folder. Every time I try, I get
a search box that opens. When I press escape about three times to get
rid of the box, my cursor is taken back to the same file I was on. It
would not be as bad if I was at least taken to the general area of the
file I want.
I have tried doing Windows trouble-shooting with the result being that
the trouble-shooter says it cannot find any problem like mine. Is there
a way to get rid of the search box? Please, I am really stuck and
getting frustrated by this problem.
I am willing to try the WE remote feature, although I have not yet done
so. I would appreciate any suggestions.
