Under general, startup options, select the "Show icon in notification area instead of task bar" option. This minimizes Window-Eyes to the systray and takes it out of the Alt-Tab rotation. Then just use Control-backslash to open the Window-Eyes control panel and escape or the minimize button to close it.

Subject: Closing Application Windows - Returning to DeskTop

Hi: I know I saw a post on this a few weeks ago but couldn't find anything with a related subject in the WEInfo Archives. I thought I remembered about putting the WE Icon in the task bar but when I close a program I still return to Windoweyes instead of the Desktop. OK, so what have I missed this time? I didn't see a setting in any of the, what I thought, were related nodes nor any headings in the docs that gave me any pointers so I will have to ask here - another dumb question. Sorry and I hope I get the bloody basics learned and set up sooner rather than later and I am still reading.
