Yes this used to happen but recently all sound is lost and does not return even if I wait a few minutes.

I lose all sound including we usually in thunderbird.

Using we7.5 and win7 home prem 32 bit.
Today I closed tbird and we and left for 10 minutes or so and sound
returned so I reloaded we and tbird and all is fine.
Anyone else having this experience which definitely happens almost
everyday day.  By the way sound card is realtech hd.
