I just tried installing the thunderbird app. I guess I have to go
delete the .set file that is attempting to load, because all i got for
my pains is a continuing message that the thunderbird.000 is not valid.
Attempt to fix one thing and it breaks something else.

that's odd, Chris, I get it to work fine, the from field. I actually
don't have the thunderbird ap installed because when I did, window-eyes
kept reading me punctuation when I had all text punchuation turned off.
And I really wasn't getting any use out of the ap, although this was
several months back now. I haven't had any of the problems you describe
in your previous message, hmmmm, puzzling

Hi all.
I will comment back by making you all aware of the Thunderbird app,
which you can get from App Get of course. As for the autocomplete, I
cannot get it to speak at all unless I tab and shift-tab. Not tried the
from field as of yet.
Take care.

Chris, the auto-complete does work and does speak. Also, changing the
from field also works just fine. So I respectfully disagree on that one.
Many thanks.

Depends on what you mean. Yes it works. Does it work perfectly, no.
Biggest complaints: doesn't support auto fill easily when entering an
address, doesn't say what email account you've changed to when you
attempt to change a from address, msaa mode gets screwed up and turns
itself on when you're trying to write a message, making it necessary to
turn off autoload while typing. If you can live with that, you might
like it.
