Although both of these methods can be used the issue is if you have several outdated Apps than you have to manually update each one. Personally I believe the best way is go to the Add or Remove Apps dialog and press the Check for Updates button. This will give you a single list of all outdated Apps with one single update to update all at once.

You get to the Add or Remove Apps dialog from Window-Eyes 7.5 by pressing control-backslash to bring up the Window-Eyes dialog followed by alt-a for the Apps pulldown, followed by enter to open up the App Management pulldown than press D for the Add or Remove Apps dialog. Once the dialog is up press alt-U for the Check for Updates option. Assuming their are updates a new dialog comes up listing them all. You can press alt-a to update all.

Or even better, use AppGet which is activated with Windows-G and it already comes installed with Window-Eyes 7.5. You can see a list of apps which need to be updated by choosing the appropriate menu item in the View menu.

Cheers!

Hi George:
You could use the Install Packages app. all you do is press
control-windows-i to bring up a list of updates. If you tab through
the options, you will get to a Show Updates button, if you press the
Spacebar, it will only list the apps which need to be updated, and
will allow you to instqall them.

happy holidays.
