Mis-speaking with WE 7.5 while performing a spell check. WE will sometimes announce Not in dictionary The misspelled word Then WE should announce Suggestions And spell out the first suggestion in the list Then if you don't want the suggested word, you should be able to tab once and be in the list where you can down arrow through the selections, do a double shift plus S to get a alpha numeric spelling or a triple shift plus S for a phonetic spelling. The current issue will sometimes result in WE beginning to speak as outlined above but not the suggestion. More often than not, focus skips past the misspelled word portion of the dialog box and WE speaks the word Suggestion but does not read them. I can then tab once and be in the list where things return to normal as outlined above where focus moves to Suggestions. This issue does not exist on the my xp machine with we 7.2 Spell check behaves exactly as it should I keep thinking set files, but I checked the set file status and as far as I can tell, it's up to date. Same with system registry. I can find no bad key or values.
