If you are going with a carrier that offers the Iphone I would go for it.
It is speech friendly.
I don't know and maybe someone on this list can inform me but I was
told the 4g iphone doesn't have speech capability. You need to get the
Iphone 16 gig.

Subject: OT looking for touch screen Smart phone users
Sorry for the off topic post.
Yahoo groups doesn't like my email address so I can't join the other lists
out there that cover this topic.
I was wondering how one uses a flat screen touch model cell phone?
The company is considering switching cellphone carriers the phones that
they are offering at the "new" discounted rates are the smart phones that
are either qwerty or touch screens.
I currently have Mobile speek and I believe it will work on these type of
phones but I have no practical idea how that is done.
If any one would consider informing me how one goes about using a touch
phone I would appreciate it.
The only other phone that the rep can come up with that may do what I want
as in having speech output is a Nextel only device.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks
Shannon
