If Webvisum won¨t perform the solving of captcha, I¨d make sure there is no firewall settings that blocks it from doing its job. It needsto have access to sedn the graphics, and to received the solved information. If any of these in and outgoing trafics would happen to be blocked by firewall or other software, NO you won¨t have your graphics solved. So, please check on your security settings. Also, do you know that you actually are logged in to Webvisum¨s server and get their services? Whenever you start Firefox, you should here a rather distinct sound - something between a sharp click and a soft clap. Further, it is normal to get a message from the synthesizer of your Window-Eyes, saying something like "you are logged into webvisum".
If you hear none of these indicators, then chances are, that you never activated, or logged in to, Webvisum. Without being logged in, well how will you get their services. Please get back, if any of this does apply. I have been using Webvisum for a couple of years, and have come to enjoy and rely on the service. Doing solvings quite frequently. Only a couple of weeks ago, I had to get my password resend, as I was installling a new system. Even that worked flawlessly, and I got my log in info, in a matter of minutes. When you say it does not work, it is hard to tell why. Try to check the things above, and do come back, letting us know, exactly what you are doing, what you expect would have taken place, and what actually did take place (or maybe more likely, what did not take place). This will help the community to be more specific in their help. But at least, there should be no trouble in using the add-on. By the way, you wouldn¨t happen to have any other add-ons running, that by chance would interfere? The only one that I could come up with, but which I am not using myself, so can¨t confirm to what extend it would have any impact, is the NoScript add-on for Firefox. Likely it would cause no trouble, but I would just have taken a look, and seen what your system is running that possibly might block the Webvisum from getting on to your internet. Hope this is of some help. ----- Original Message ----- From: matthew dyer To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] ; Terry Chaney ; [email protected] Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2011 4:03 PM Subject: Re: webvisum Hi, Whebn I want to saulve a captcha, I use control ault 6 and it works fine here and I am using ff 4 with it abnd it works fine here.
