Not necessarily a Window-eyes weirdness: most likely that person has chosen to
have keyboard on so that every key press is spoken.

They may either like it that way or may not know how to adjust keyboard
voices/settings.

Even less likely to be a quirk of Windows Seven: My home install of
window-"eyes 7.5 also runs on Windows Seven 32 bit and I have never had my
voice and keyboard settings mangled by the operating system.

Hope this helps.

Vaughan.

Subject: quick question concerning window eyes

Hello:
I observed someone using window eyes 7.5 the other day and I noticed that most
keys they pressed, window eyes echoed. Let me provide an example, the person is
on the start menue and they are at the bottom of the list. The person wants to
get to the top of the start menue, so the person pressed the up arrow key until
they reached their destination but while that was going on, I kept hearing
Control up arrow, control up arrow, control up arrow. Is this some sort of
setting in window eyes that is set so when navigation keys are pressed they
will be spoken or is Window-eyes just acting weird that day.
I will state this just in case someone asks and the person was using a windows
7 32 bit machine.
Thankyou.
