Thanks so much for your suggestions, Chip. I had meant for my question
to go to directly to support and I'm still hoping to get an answer from
them. Word is maximized, and there are no toolbars, just the ribbon and
the line at the bottom, which right now is constantly reading "Track
Changes:off and then the title for the window. I'm going nuts from
having to navigate my documents with the mouse keys!

Windows, it's almost always caused by one of two things: either the Word
window is not maximized, or, too many toolbars are being displayed at the
top of the window, and they're encroaching into the area of the window which
WE thinks is being used for document text.
So, maximize the Word window (I find the app named Window Manager from GW is
the best for helping solve this, so you don't have to remember to do it
every time), and turn off all the toolbars which you aren't using at the
moment (I don't have a copy of 2007 to tell you how to do this, but it's
likely to be under the "View" tab).

Hello,
I've been having problems with Word 07 and Window-Eyes 7.5 (and previously,
7.2) on my Vista machine. I have reinstalled both WE and Office 07 in
attempts to fix this, as well as tried replacing word.set.
In a Word document, whether I'm in draft view or the default page layout
Word wants to use, when I try to arrow around the text, I keep hearing a
specific part of the screen, but not the text that should be spoken.
Right now, it's "track changes: off, 100% Document1 Microsoft Word
non-commercial use, Home."
Sometimes it is other information from the bottom of the screen, like the
page number. The pageup and pagedown keys are working normally right now,
but sometimes they just ding. Read to end just dings.
Have you seen this before? how can I fix it?
