Hello Paul, you will need to choose the French Eloquence in that case.
From the Window-Eyes control panel, go to Devices and then to
Synthesizers. Now arrow to Eloquence and then tab once. You will see the
list of the 50 language profiles for Eloquence. Arrow to the French one
and press Alt-C to activate. This will make the default synthesizer for
everything be the one you choose, I.E. French. If you only want to use
it on a temporary basis, you might consider using the Voice Rotor app
which lets you add different synthesizers you want to rotate to. Then
you can press Windows-F2 to rotate forward amongst the selected
synthesizers. You can get more information about the Voice Rotor app
from the App menu of Window-Eyes by arrowing to Voice Rotor and pressing
Enter on the Help submenu.
