iTunes is a resource hog, and can bring underpowered machines to their
knees. Actually, except for iPhone firmware updates, once you set up
your iTunes account, you can download content and install apps by using
the iTunes and App Store apps on the iPhone itself. You will need to
use iTunes on the PC if you want to sync items between the two devices,
or if you want to back up the contents of your iPhone to the PC, which
is a good idea, just in case you need to restore your phone after a
crash.

Subject: WE 7.5 and ITunes

Hi, I've just got an IPhone and am really finding ITunes difficult to
manage. I've installed the ITunes App on my computer. Is ITunes for the
PC,
I'm using Windows XP just a hateful program, or can anyone offer any
advice
on how to use it?

When I was setting up my account many of the controls weren't reading
correctly.

When in the program and tabbing around, or trying to use the WE cursor
ITunes sometimes slows right down to the point where I have to stop
typing
and wait for a few minutes for the program to sort itself out.

Any advice would be gratefully received.
