Hi, at present the update message is winning. i tried routing the
mouse to the tooltip, as suggested by tom kingston and others.
although i did it straight away, it said can't rout to tooltip. i
then tried insert s, and only found three things, none of which was
windows update. i will try again tomorrow. brian.
