Don,

I am not familiar with the Firefox plugin you are using, but FF doesn't use standard Win32 progress bars to display information. Instead, you can open the downloads window with Control-J, and your most recent downloads will be listed at the top. Next to the filename is an indicator describing how much has been downloaded, how quickly it's progressing, and approximately how much time remains. If you ever want to hear the state of progress bars for the active window, press Control-Insert-B.

Regards,
Steve

In older versions of we 7.5, after a download completed, you could hear
we speaking the page, or a ding would sound. Sometimes using the mouse,
you would find the progress bar.
It is ok with send space, drop box, but, on some WebPages, I don't know
when the download is complete.
I do have Firefox to sound when down complete, but, I don't hear anything.
Also, what is the command to hear the progress bar if there is one?
Thanks
Don
