Hello Bill,

When you hear the balloon sound, press Control-Insert-T to cause Window-Eyes to read the last tooltip and/or popup balloon text. if it is something asking for you to click it, press Insert-Numpad-Plus twice to route the mouse to the tooltip followed by Numpad-Slash to initiate a left mouse click.

Also, if you use any kind of download managers like Free Download Manager, the Amazon MP3 Downloader, etc., they often times throw out balloons as status indicators. If you have any such software installed, you can typically configure it to either alert you in a different fashion or, if you're like me and find them more annoying than helpful, turn them off altogether.

Regards,
Steve

Yes I keep hearing it, but can't seem to find what or where it is. I
have looked in the system tray but nothing seems out of the ordinary.
Any ideas as to how I can find out what it is?
Bill
