Hi, Sam,

Do the same as I have suggested with Goodfeel. I have told them more than once that they are missing a potential market. They are coming to the NFB convention, so I intend to talk wit them some more.

Evelyn

Hello Evelyn, that is certainly positive. If Dancing Dots could do the same with Sonar and Sibellyus as they will be doing with Good Feel, that will make a heck of a difference to musicians using Window-Eyes.

Hi, Michelle,

I have spent some time talking with the Dancing Dots people about making Goodfeel work fully with WE. I think that, with the recentupgrade in WE, this is a lot more possible now because app writing for WE is done through standard programming languages, not a proprietary language that JFW uses. Albert Milani, their tech told me that they were moving in that direction. I know a numbeer of musicians who have changed to WE, and so this should receive attention. Jeremy, how aout some kind of cooperative rrrangement between GW Micro and DAncing Dots to make this happen sooner rather than later? I recall you made an announcement a while ago about GW Micro working specifically to make specific programs more accessib le. I believe a number of us would like Goodfeel to be fully accessible with WE at the Sharp Eye and Lime stages.

I would like to see musicians on this list send all kinds of correspondence to DAncing Dots so that they know this is important. The problem is that Bill McCAnn, the developer of Goodfeel is a Jaws useer.

Albert Milani is their tech. His email address is
[email protected]

He uses this for all correspondence.

One can also go to the Web site and use the contact link. That would reach Bill as well.

Pleasae remember to be respectful. I've been meaning to write this to this list for some time. so Thanks, Michelle, for prompting me.

Cordially,

Evelyn

Hi there,

I am looking at getting a Braille music Translation programme to read from scanned piano music, or music I can scan, and convert to a Braille display. I want to access Braille music via my screen reader and Braille display. I have looked at GoodFeel from Dancing Dots , I am not sure if this works with WE; because this programme talks a lot about interfacing with Jaws and other programmes such as mime, sharp eye. I am not sure if these programmes work with WE.

Any ideas or suggestions what will work with WE 7.5, AND Vista will be appreciated.

Regards
Michelle Stevens
