A very good point. I actually was in a situation the other day, where this 
would have saved me a lot of 'ins' and 'outs' of table mode. Would really have 
been great, if Window-Eyes stayed in Table mode, even if the user switch back 
and forth between windows.

  Since I have no doubt that GW Micro is going to revamp browse mode, I am 
offering the following suggestion.

  When I am in table mode, open a link in a cell in a new tab, then come back 
to the that tab, Window-Eyes does not stay in table mode. I would be very happy 
if it did. Then I can move to another cell and open another link in a new tab 
and keep on going while retaining my original position.
