Hello,
Now I've noticed a drop back down to 275,928 K, mI'll keep checking it each time I finish doing something and post it so that maybe a trend can be tracked to see if indeed there is a memory leak issue or not.

you can see the changes every time you load a program. i loaded and unloaded firefox about 20 times in a row and each time the usage would go up about100k each time after i closed firefox. it goes up with each web page i go to also. i see the usage go up just by pressing f5 with windows mail to send and resieve messages. when the recieve music plays. everything i do causes the w e usage to go up and it does not go down much after the programs are all close and i am on the desktop. with me once the usage reached 85000k w e will crash. i have done this twice now with the same results.
the memory is not being released when the programs are closed.
this is the usage for w e only. when i reload w e fresh the usage dropped back down to 57440k ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cory Martin" <[email protected]>

Hmmm yes I'm seeing this as well. I can track it over a day or so and see how much it increases, but a couple hours ago it was using roughly 250mb and now I just checked and it's using 302mb or there abouts. That is a fair amount of RAM for it to be eating up isn't it? I know a screen reader is a complex program though, but is there a way to control that sort of issue? Or is just restarting the program the only solution for the time being? Fortunately it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all as a result, but yes definitely I think this needs to be addressed.

Have noticed that Wineyes still devours memory over time and wonder if anyone has encountered this issue.
