I have also been getting Java update messages. I told the uac to allow and the updater screen went away. I found the message in the system tray, but when I entered on install, I received a message that the download was not there. Then, the screen went away. This happens every time I restart my computer.

Subject: Java Auto Updater

Hi. From time to time after I boot up my laptop, I hear a message under
Windows 7 64 bit home premium that a new update is available for java auto updater. Repeatedly I have pressed alt-y for yes since the button is a u a c. Apparently the update is not installing or I wouldn't keep hearing the
message.

Earlier this morning after booting up the laptop and having opened Outlook 2010 and had the inbox open, the java auto updater message came up again. I could not immediately get to the computer so I thought that since I didn't act upon the u a c that it would stay focused. It didn't. Focus went back
to the inbox.

Short of rebooting the laptop, is there any way to get the u a c back to
update the java auto updater? Will an insert-numbpad-plus allow me to click on the tool tip? I was going to call GW Micro to help me act upon the u a c had it stayed focused, grin, but apparently you've got to be right at the
computer or not wait too long.

Mike M.
