There appears to be an interesting behaviour with Window-Eyes 7.51 and IE8 when entering passwords. Specifically when changing them. I notice this mostly with Internet Explorer but it also happened with HEAT from Front Range Solutions. When entering a password that is alphanumeric, for example "abcd1234", Window-Eyes sometimes will not say "star" when entering the first alphabetic characters. Then when entering the four digits, Window-Eyes will say "star" twice for each character. It is as if WE is trying to catch up.
