John,

What types of websites are you visiting when Firefox crashes? Does launching it with a fresh profile resolve the instability? You can do this by opening the Run dialog with Windows-R, typing "firefox -P," followed by Enter.

Finally, all versions of firefox can be found at ftp://ftp.mozilla.org. Just as an aside, I am having no stability problems with the latest Firefox 6 alpha found on the Aurora channel. Since FF 6 will be out in a few months' time, you might give it a try and see if it works better for you.

Regards,
Steve

I unfortunately upgraded to firefox 5.0. On the one hand, it works
amazingly fast with Windoweyes. On the other hand, I've been getting
