You would be better to seek to obtain a copy of v7.2, as this will run on
Windows 2000. It will also have features which represent major improvements
over v4.

I do note GW's concerns about breach of license if someone were to provide a
copy of v4.2, but I presume that it might be possible to talk to GW about
generating a copy for you of 7.2 and negotiating a purchase price.

Subject: Window-eye help request

Recently, my Windows 98 computer bit the dust and now I am trying to activate a
computer which has Windows 2000 as the operating system. I have been using
Window-eyes 4.1 for several years but it will not install on my Windows 2000
machine. In talking with GW Micro, I learned that version 4.2 was the first
version that would work with Windows 2000. This was a free upgrade from 4.1
which I had but I did not receive v 4.2 and GW Micro can not furnish this to me
at this time. Would any one of our readers have a copy of Window-eyes 4.2 that
I could borrow to try on my computer? Any assistance would be appreciated.
