Hi Everyone,
For some reason, today, Window-Eyes is acting very strange. It
doesn't read things when I alt tab from one window to another, and I
have noticed this behavior since 7.5.1. I actually tried to unload
Window-Eyes with the intention of loading it again, and I couldn't do
that. Then, when Window-Eyes wasn't talking, I again tried to unload
it, and I had no speech, so I loaded another screen reader, but
before it loaded, Window-Eyes was talking, then when SA started,
Window-Eyes wasn't talking, of course.
It's sometimes hard to run a computer without speech. <grin> lol. <smile>
Now, I'm going to attempt to unload this screen reader, and load
Window-Eyes again. llol.
Here goes nothing! <grin>
Okay, Window-Eyes is now running. <smile>
I can now alt-tab between windows just fine. I don't know what was
going on, but now it seems to be working better, but if anyone has
ideas, I would appreciate hearing them.
Also, I know that for a long time now, Window-Eyes takes a long time
to load when my computer boots up I think it's almost a minute.
I'm using Windows Seven 32Bit Ultimate.
I hope that changes soon.
One other thing that is strange, is that yesterday I was purchasing
some audio books as downloads online, and I couldn't finish the
transaction with Window-Eyes. For some reason, it wouldn't take my
order, and when I loaded SA, I was able to complete that transaction. This was
