Hi,
On one of the versions of Google there are apperantly 2 edit boxes. I had
the same issue at one point. the first box is disabled "not sure what it's
for". If you tab once you should be in the search edit box. I believe that
you need to turn off advanced search optins in google to get rid of the 2nd
box.

Hi all,
My husband upgraded my computer last night and installed Internet Explorer 8
and version 7.5.1. Now, when I try to get onto the internet, Google says
there are only 18 links instead of saying there are 32, which is what it
said when I was using Internet Explorer 6, and it also says that the Google
search box is disabled. What should I do? I am at a loss. Thanks for your
