In my case, using windows 7 64-bit, when I click on a rtf file, Wordpad
opens it.

Hi Gang,
I'm still learning about my new windows 7 6.4 bit computer. When I
click on a .txt file it reads it just fine, but if I click on an .rtf
file it just says "microsoft word starter" and doesn't read it. The
.txt files seem to be read in notepad. Any ideas as to how I can get
the .rtf files to read?
