i do not know about now. but about 2 years ago the company changed there
software and it was not accessible with window eyes and you had to request the
older software if you wanted to use the magic jack.
as far as brakeups this is usually because of a slow internet connection and if
your i s p restricts the magic jack use on there server.
a few years ago comcast was sued for this very same practice of reduceing the
bandwith when a magic jack was used on there server to discurage the use of the
magic jack in faver of comcast own voice over service. this may be the case
with your friends i s p service.
