Just curious whether you are sure we set file is associated with the program you are opening. I share my desk top with my wife so we gets turned on and off several times a day and if I do not close all open programs before loading we all set files are not associated correctly which often produces incorrect settings.

I spoke with gw micro and this occurrance seems wierd loading we with running programs should result in correct set file associations since we should check for or load files when I move to the open file.

I have noticed in the last few weeks in using 7.51 that often when I
load window-eyes it has reverted my keyboard speech settings back to
offf instead of characters and words where I always keep it, or at
least try to keep it if it would actually preserve my settings that
is. Maybe it's just frustration, but I really don't understand how you
end up with a bug that the stupid thing can't even just preserve a
saved setting??? How hard could it be to load previous saved
settings??? I just don't get it. Yes changing it back only takes a
minute, a completely unnecessary minute that should not have to be
spent, but it is not the kind of bug that hinders accessibility. Just
like the bug that still exists that typing in a web edit field still
drops characters randomly and has nothing to do with any homer layout.
I have never had that loaded.
