I have requested that Treasury Direct do something to make it
possible for someone with visual problems to access their site. I have
never received an answer
or response from them. When I speak to a live representative, they
tell me it's because of security. When i ask to speak to a supervisor,
there's never one available. Guess they really don't want our business.

Vicky,
Regarding the first website, they are not using a standard submit
button or onclick which is why it is not appearing while Browse Mode
is active. However, if you are filling out the form, Tab one time past
the "remember my password" checkbox, and your focus will be on the
login button. Pressing Enter here will activate it.
You are correct about the usability limitation imposed on the second
website. This is something the designers themselves will have to address.

Steve

First, I can't seem to login to my account at the below Regions Bank
site using WE 7.5.1 with either IE 8 or Firefox 5. I can manage to
find the login button with using SA and IE, but not with SA and
Firefox. Oh, sure, I can access their mobile site without a problem,
but there are a few things that require the full site of:
https://www.regions.com/personal_banking.rf
Second, I'm guessing the answer here is no. But, when logging into
the Treasury Direct site below, does anyone know if there is a faster
way than tabbing or arrowing to each number or letter to input the
password? And, if one thinks this is fun, once the account number
and password are correctly entered, then the next page presents a
similar type screen to give information from an access card where one
needs to match up letters and numbers from the actual card mailed to
them with a small string of letters and numbers given on the site.
And, thankfully for me, my brother read me the information on the
access card awhile back, and they haven't changed things since. But,
for purposes of this message, I'm just asking about the main screen
where one enters their account number and password at this site:
https://www.treasurydirect.gov/RS/BPDLogin?application=rs
Oh, for anybody still reading, I can hardly believe this! For, just
for the fun of it, I just tried with my Sense note taker to access
the Treasury Direct site. And, I was extremely surprised and pleased
to see that it just let me enter the password, as well as the access
card information on the next screen, directly into the appropriate
computer edit box. Now, I had already tried something similar with
the Regions Bank site, but the login button just doesn't show up for
the Sense note taker, either. I'm using a Toshiba laptop running
Windows Vista Home Premium.
