Anita,
Stuttering speech is typically indicative of heavy CPU activity. You
might want to examine what programs are running in the background which
might tie up your computer to the point where speech performance
suffers. Also, what happens if you switch to a different speech device,
such as DECTalk, Eloquence, or SAPI?
