Hello Duyahn,
Which program are you in when you issue the Read-To-End command? Does
this happen everywhere, or just inside this specific application?
regards,
Steve

Ok. I'm really not sure as to why this is going on but, here is my
issue. I am using Dectalk Express as the default speech synthesizer and
I have the latest version of Window eyes. I am also running Windows xp
home edition. When the Dectalk Express is selected, and the document is
open that I want to read, I press the ctrl-shift-r command to start the
reading to end sequence. Dectalk Express will read the top line, then
stop. I even waited a full five minutes before I started up the command
again. If I do the command again, it acts fine. i have checked
everything to make sure there is no interfeerence from anything but,
nothing has worked. I have tried Eloquence, and the Dectalk Access32
software with this same command and there are no issues. My DecTalk is
set to Com 4 and I am using a USB to serial cable so that the Dec
Express can work. If anyone has run in to this or if anyone has some
suggestions, i am all for them.
Thanks for any and all help
